Snow Biking


Quick afternoon ride at Blue Mounds State Park, video is pretty shaky guess I need a helmet cam.

    1. Thanks. We have had it easy this year, under a foot total I think. It can go anytime I've had enough of the cold.

  2. Wait, I didn't think bikes could go on single track in winter? Also, they actually "groom" that trail (probably with a toboggan) for hiking/snowshoeing; it's not just the result of snoeshowing traffic. Anyway, cool video - glad it wasn't last week when I was out on that trail snowshoeing.

    1. No grooming of the trails, simply packed by snowshoes. The trails are open year round although the ranger indicated this may change temporarily. I don't think you have much to worry about while snowshoeing, I was going under 4 mph
